2nd Shift Warehouse Manager

New England Market is looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate to join our team to assist with various warehouse duties. We’re looking for a fast-learner who must be able to work with the team and independently once they are familiar with day-to-day operation of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly work schedules for each department in Night Warehouse.
  • Review inventory on a daily basis; responsible for controlling product shrink.
  • Monitor the outflow of product on a daily basis via sales
  • Control payroll, overtime, and credits in each department.
  • Enforce standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety rules.
  • Prepare timely performance evaluations of personnel in the night warehouse.
  • Perform all job functions of the night warehouse and assist when short staffed.
  • Continuously review standard operating procedures, adding new procedures and creating better efficiency
  • Develop, train, and coach all night warehouse team members for future career advancement.
  • Assign coolers to specific employees and hold them accountable for quantity and cleanliness.
  • Adherence to attendance policy and work schedule.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the VP of Operations and/or President.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 2+ years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor required
  • Chinese Mandarin speaking or Spanish is a must
  • Proven ability to solve problems independently and articulate information effectively
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills, able to work with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

Sales Manager

This is a hands-on, management-level role. We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales strategy and planning functions, in collaboration with management
  • Responsible for hiring, training, managing, and developing sales and customer service staff
  • Direct sales
  • Manage sales team performance; set and review goals, assist in removing roadblocks
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department including daily priorities and needs
  • Work directly with customers to help resolve complaints, issues, or objections on behalf of company and/or salesperson

Sales Representative to join our team to reach out to clients, take orders and drive company revenue. We’re looking for a fast-learner who must be able to work with the team and independently once they are familiar with day-to-day operation of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs sales activities for the assigned customer base and provides customer support
  • Conducts outbound calls to external customer base.
  • Responsible for penetrating and growing market share of assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for increasing customer retention.
  • Sells, via the phone, all major product categories through the presentation of new products, services, ideas, uses, and applications to meet all established sales and profit objectives.
  • When necessary, performs merchandising research of product discounts, product services information, special offers and/or company promotions.
  • Maintains, product information and prices, merchandising materials, call lists and lead lists to enhance sales activities through planning activities based on accurate and precise information.
  • Completes and up-dates all applicable sales forms and call reports to ensure a complete and timely flow of sales information.
  • When possible, sells excess and/or obsolete inventory items, as identified, through special customer contacts and sales techniques to reduce product waste and unsatisfactorily high inventory levels.
  • Promotes positive working relationships with all internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher;
  • one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • 1 -2 years wholesale food in a customer service level position.
